Testifying before Commission members can be intimidating but Commission members
want to hear from you. Consider these tips as you prepare to appear in front of
us.
- Do not read your testimony - instead summarize your key points.
- Keep your comments to about three minutes in fairness to others who also want to
speak.
- Use a brief example to highlight your point.
- Bring copies of your written testimony.
For additional suggestions on how to best prepare to testify, we urge you to review
this tip sheet.
